DESCRIPTION:“Giving Thanks and Praying for Peace”\nKeynote Speaker: Dr. Carina Black\, Northern Nevada International Center\nA worship service of prayer and music from a variety of faith traditions\,\nsponsored by the Nevada Interfaith Association. \nWe have come together as God’s children to enrich our lives through an interfaith experience. During the service friends from various faiths will express praise and thanks according to their faith traditions. Portions of this service have also been selected to represent those elements of worship that are shared by all our traditions. \nOur Thanksgiving service is a beautiful way to give true meaning to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Focusing on the historical significance of Thanksgiving in music and the spoken word in multi-interfaith voices makes for a memorable evening.
