Interfaith Youth Leadership Conference

The inspiration for the youth conference came from reading ACTS Of Faith by Saboo Patel. The goal of the youth conference is to find the shared values that we hold and to see the community in which we live with new eyes. Educating them about the many opportunities to serve and to help make a difference in various areas of our community is empowering. Leadership skills are learned in the process of creating plausible service projects and then in organizing to bring those service projects to fruition.

The conference will feature a keynote guest speaker who is nationally recognized for speaking relevant topics that impact the youth. Encouraging interaction across cultural, racial and diverse economic lines helps to dispel misinformation as we work on inclusion and diversity.

Creating a special youth core for each event enriches the leadership experience as they learn marketing, event planning, and team building. It is our goal to hold this event yearly
