’For the Love of Our Neighbors’, a candlelight vigil for those who have died while having no safe and reliable housing.
Our NIA vigil will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday the 10th in front of the BELIEVE sign at Reno City Plaza. The names of those who died will be read and candles will be lit in remembrance.
“Too many people who fall through the cracks in the system,” said Father Chuck Durante, rector at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Cathedral, in a statement. “It is our moral responsibility to care for people in need”
