On Sunday, April 26 at 1 p.m., Friends, members of other faith communities, and people of conscience will gather for one hour of silent public worship in Idlewild Park. Our hope is that our presence will give hope to all who see us – to show that we can choose resistance – and remind everyone of our moral obligations to one another. Love as Action: Resisting Authoritarianism Sunday, April 26 at 1 p.m. Idlewild Park (lawn west of the California Building) 2055 Idlewild Dr., Reno, NV 89509 Registration is encouraged but not required. We also invite Friends to create and bring their own posters that share messages of resistance and hope. |
